About Nadine

Hello and welcome to EMERALD. My name is Nadine McMahon. I teach Yoga and hold space for people to come deeper into relationship with themselves.

My work is rooted in a deep reverence for the ancient traditions of Yoga and Tantra, while also being shaped by feminine wisdom, the rhythms and cycles of the natural world, the written word and my own lived experience.

I first came to Yoga during the early years of my career as a corporate lawyer in London, initially looking for a way to manage the pace and pressure of modern life. What I found was something much deeper: a practice that brought me back into my body, reignited my curiosity and reminded me of what it is that connects us all.

Since then, I have spent many years walking between seemingly different worlds - the intellectual and the embodied, structure and intuition, ambition and surrender, the ancient and the modern.

Rather than seeing these parts of my life as contradictions, I have become increasingly interested in the wisdom that lives in the space between them.

EMERALD grew from that space.

Let’s do this differently

At the heart of my work is a belief that there is a deep intelligence within each of us. Modern life gives us endless opportunities to override it, outsource it or simply become too busy to hear it.

The practices I share are an invitation to remember.

Through Yoga, embodied movement, meditation, breath, ritual and spaces of genuine connection, I invite people to slow down, listen deeply and reconnect with their own inner authority.

Much of what I offer is held specifically for women: spaces in which we can explore the body, cyclical wisdom, compassion, power, rest, creativity and the many different expressions of the feminine without needing to make ourselves smaller or more palatable.

There is a wisdom that can only be found by turning inward. The spaces I hold are an invitation to move towards it - at your own pace and in your own way.
